Damaged Barrel On Stones
The large frequency and diversity of the combinations that make them make the “Stones” one of the dominant motifs in the work of Sorogas. They are the subject area where the painter puts a system of principles and rules that give the line of aesthetic path to follow: simplicity, balance, order of an inner rhythm, limitation of the written surface in relation to the unwritten, precise design and frontal, careful calculated, composition, near-light texture of the design and the color. In terms of color, the increased use of white in relation to the painting text, the indelible tonal gradations of gray and the minimal, once, use of red, blue and pink prevail.
