His paintings exude an aura like the one Kavafis created, with a deep nostalgic manor. "He draws inspiration from history, tradition and his own personal memories. The land, the olive trees, the wildflowers, the vines, the stones of the Greek land, the churches, the Byzantine icons, the carved temple, the various remains of the historical past that can be found in the showcases of a museum. All these materials inspire him. Although the painter lives a lot abroad, he knows that his "truths" is here, in the history and in the traditions of his land, in the nostalgia of his return, in the sea and the soil ... ", Christos says about the painter Konstantopoulos. Source: touaregblue.blogspot.gr
