Because Saridakis is a creator who uses painting as an attitude of life towards situations that surround him with a distinctive but obvious poetic motivation, I must point out: Manolis’ painting is so familiar to each of us because, while insisting on the readable thematic sea pictures (pebble shallow seas, lonely silver fish, paper boats, blocks, life jackets, etc.), the reconstruction of his work, each one separately and all together, show a philosophical existential background, morphologically defined but two-way communicative, since its expressive reconstruction allows, as in all the works, the worthy reason, the subjective reading of the artistic viewer.
