Topography of Epirus and other regions of Greece will become starting points and will stimulate his search. And in this case, the artist has as a starting point the visual reality, that is, the specific landscape, but will not be limited (in his most characteristic and completed paintings) only to the realistic description. He will attempt and manage to give us once more a personal poetic interpretation and sometimes a formal and decisive element of his subjects. The artist seems to have no interest in external fidelity but both for the rendering of the decisive elements of the subject and the emphasis on the atmospheric.
