“Cosmopolitanism and the feeling of “belonging”: on this diachronic dimension – although in reality is not timeless, since we recognize the values of absolute ecumenism in the Greek identity – all of Kara’s art moves,” writes Julia Serafini.

I have embraced abstract art. Art that has been questioned for many years and even now some are questioning it.

Keep in mind that abstract art frees the painter from the taboo of the past. But it has a disadvantage. It has no comfort in communicating with the public. The audience can not understand it, they think it is playful. And it’s not like that at all!

As an artist, I have benefited from my studies and my engagement with them. It frees you from the image and puts you silently in the board as if you were part of the board. In abstract shapes, it also distinguishes forms.

The abstract art, combined with my mathematical way of thinking over the last five (5) years has led me to make a series of works that refer to the golden rule.

In these cool tones of color, in these lines in order not to lose the viewer, I leave this loophole and I put elements from the past, apples, figures, etc.

It must be stressed that for Kara, this rare combination of intellectual and functional impulses never existed arrogant pretext to promote his career. And this is where he belongs as an artist, the one who does not seek to "reload" with rewards and values the only reality that suits him. It was only (and sufficient) for him to work, as it does to anyone who could not even know how to do otherwise. A sort of pessimistic. " Source: cityportal.gr
