The invitation from the Ikastikos Kiklos Sianti to create a circular artwork is a personal challenge for me. It’s a challenge that involves categorizing my own obsessions that have been captured in the past within suitcases, trunks – small, uncharted paradises of my imagination that reappear before me again and again. This time, they emerge within a circular window framed by a map, with the view and destination being the beauty of the sea. It’s a circular window, a kaleidoscope into the beauty of life, into the joy and enjoyment of nature’s colors. It serves as a reminder that the most beautiful things in life are abundantly offered to those who can see them with the eyes of their soul, without expecting anything in return…
