From the abstraction and the amorphous art of the early 60’s, he goes into expressionism, then into compositions of realism, surrealism and space poetry, and finally leads to a distinct level of painting of expressiveness and integration through a post-pop pictorial perception. Since then Kara’s work has clearly distinguished a purely personal surrealistic painting with symbolic extensions.
His personal essential quests lead him to redefine deeper by deciphering hidden meanings. Thus, the outstanding artist gradually moves from the outside to the interior and from anecdotal issues to pure painting values that complete his voice by showing the monumental of his forms and the internal space in which he moves and creates.
