In the artists “Wood” section, Sorogas is looking at a house dilapidation, actually it’s his own roof falling apart, and he records it in a leaflet covering each phase of this process. Beams, rusty iron and broken tiles, old wood fragments with their knots and the waters form a variety of combinations, supporting each other. Their arrangement in space and their contradiction with the guidelines of the other components of the composition constitute a world of multiple forms but simple in its structures. The interest in the series of woods lies in the fact that while the subject is a ruin, the individual components on a very robust architectural structure that obeys its own plastic laws and has its own meaningful meaning.
