The fighter and very dynamic personality Demosthenes Kokkinidis, who acted as a professor and dean of the ASCR (Higher Education School of Fine Arts), remained firm to his social and political ideals as well as his love and dedication to Pepi to whom he has dedicated his creations from 2004 until today. Almost always present in the work of Kokkinidis is the human form, in a different way experienced and integrated, according to the unity of creation, constitutes a dynamic point of reference and at the same time a connecting link between the artist’s constantly renewed and inspired stimuli. From the emblematic forms in his work (1958-1960), the most suggestive of the “Quarters” and “Cyclades” (1960-1964), we go to the tragic part of the scenes inspired by the Vietnam War (1964-1967) but thanks to the dynamic of imaging by Kokkinidis they could symbolize every war and every violence. In (1969-1974) we have a bold chronological parentage with his work on identity leading to his work dedicated to “Motherhood”  (1968-1974), due to the birth of his daughter.
