Art is a part of our lives even when we are in isolation. That is what Sianti Gallery believes and reminds us of it through the exhibition «50×50: Less is More», which opens on Saturday May the 15 th of 2021 from 11:00 until 16:00. Important Greek artists prove that the concept of “big” in art is not necessarily about the size, but the expression, the depth and, most importantly, the emotion.
There is a big diversity in the pieces as far as the themes are concerned, but also the materials used for their creation, there is, however, a common element: their size· which, after all, has provided the title to the exhibition: 50×50.
Less is More. Ultimately the dimension does not prevent a big work of art from highlighting the artistic glance of any artist. The liberty in the themes and the coloring of the creations highlight the uniqueness of the expression and entail the concept of the size in intensity and quality. The only common element of the pieces, the 50×50 dimension, is what helps people approach one another. Nothing else unites them better than a common artistic emotion.
Nineteen important artists will be participating in the exhibition: Agelidis Paschalis, Antonaropoulos Christos, Valirakis Yiannis, Koukos Dimitris, Lalas Thanassis, Bathas Thanassis, Belivanaki Lila, Papaioanou Christina, Ragou Rania, Siagris Panayiotis, Sorogas Sotiris, Spartalis Agelos, Stathopoulos Giorgos, Stoidis Aris, Tolis Konstantinos, Tsoklis Kostas, Fassianos Alekos, Chantzaras Apostolos, Charos Manolis.
