A painter, sculptor and intellectual, P. Prekas was distinguished for his ethics in his personal and artistic life, his belief in timeless values, his love for nature and the ancient Greek world. Through his art, P. Preka expresses in every sense the voyage, the tendency of fleeing, the longing for search. Watercolors, oils, murals on large surfaces, jewelry, furnishings, and sculpture, when the artist felt the need to “transliterate the forms and tones of painting into matter” were some of the paths he explored.
