Mina Papatheodorou Valirakis was born in Athens.<\/p>\n

1975 \u2013 1980, Graduation with distinction in painting and theoretical studies at the SUPREME SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS of the NATIONAL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS, under Professor Yiannis Moralis<\/p>\n

1981, Scholarship \u2013 Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs-post graduate studies in history of Art, UNIVERSITY OF FLORENCE, ITALY.<\/p>\n

1986 PHD, University of Florence, ITALY \u201cPERFEZIONAMENTO IN STORIA DELL\u201d Arte Medievale e Moderna\u201d.<\/p>\n

She has presented her work in more than 60 one woman shows in Greece, Italy, USA, Brussels, Spain, China, UAE, France, etc, as well as group exhibitions from 1983 till now.<\/p>\n

1998 AUTOMOBILI LAMBORGHINI<\/strong> official artist by her commemorative work of art \u201cLA STORIA DELLA LAMBORGHINI, 35 years anniversary\u201d \u2013 painting of 18 m.sq.<\/p>\n

2000, Monte Carlo-Monaco, VILLA LES AIGLES, personal exhibition, \u201c58th Grand Prix<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

2001, she presented her Artwork in the NATIONAL MUSEUM OF WOMEN IN THE ARTS OF WASHINGTON, where her painting \u201cStill life in yellow<\/strong>\u201d was approved and acquired for the permanent collection of the Museum in U.S.A.<\/p>\n

2003 September, EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT, personal exhibition, \u201c2004 Olympic Games<\/strong>\u201d presented by the OLYMPIC CHAMPION AND EUROPEAN DEPUTY PIETRO MENNEA, and EUROPEAN DEPUTY FOR EDUCATION VIVIAN REDING.<\/p>\n

2003 November, the UN adapted the Olympic Truce resolution for the duration of the Games, Greece \u2013 through the Foreign Minister George Papandreou -, donated the monumental work \u201cOLYMPIC TRUCE<\/strong>\u201c, signed by 23 women Olympic champions to the UN. During the official ceremony, UN General Secretary MR. KOFI ANNAN accepted the gift in the presence of IOC PRESIDENT MR. JACQUES ROGUE.<\/p>\n

2003, MPV granted the \u201cXENIOS ZEYS<\/strong>\u201d award by GREEK TOURISM ORGANIZATION for the promotion of Greece in the abroad.<\/p>\n

2004, MPV makes the official calendar of Olympic Games \u201cATHENS 2004\u201d as well as some of the official posters of the Games. In October 2004, she is granted the \u201cGuirlande d\u2019 Honeur<\/strong>\u201d award for her offer in the Art for the Sports, from the President of the Italian Republic, in the Festival Arts Sport Movies and TV in Milan.<\/p>\n
